2015 - This is the second time for Daniel Worden to enter this contest and he placed third. He hails from Kremmling, CO. Daniel is currently in EMT School and about to graduate. In addition to playing the mountain dulcimer, Daniel also builds them. In fact Daniel made the one he played in the competition. He started playing the dulcimer when he was around eight years old. Daniel also plays the guitar and fiddle. Being a luthier, woodworking and the outdoors are his hobbies when not studying or playing the mountain dulcimer.
Daniel won $125, the 3rd Place Trophy and a 4FGCS Mountain Dulcimer by the Dulcimer Shoppe/McSpadden Mountain Dulcimers of Mountain View, AR.
