Cindy Harris

Cindy Harris of Pittsburgh, PA placed first in this competition. This was her fifth visit to Winfield and the Festival. This Internet Consultant and Musician enters numerous other competitions for the Autoharp like Mt Laurel. She said she often wanted to come to Winfield but it just didn’t work out. She has placed second in this competition for the last four years and her tenacity paid off this year. She has been playing this instrument for some 20 years and has cut numerous CDs. Cindy also plays the fiddle and bass and a little banjo. The 1st Place Trophy, $175 in cash and a d’Aigle Cascade SP G-D Diatonic Autoharp by Pete Daigle of Seatac, WA.


2016 - Cindy Harris of Pittsburgh, PA placed second in this competition. This was her fourth visit to Winfield and the Festival. This Musician and Internet Consultant enters numerous other competitions for the Autoharp like Mt Laurel. She said she often wanted to come to Winfield but it just didn’t work out. Last year she placed second also. She has been playing this instrument for some 19 years and has numerous CD out the most recent is entitled “You Can’t Get There from Here” Cindy also plays the fiddle and bass. The 2nd Place Trophy, an Evoharp Legacy 21 autoharp by The Dulcimer Shoppe/McSpadden of Mountain View, AR and a $125 check will be headed back to Pittsburgh with her.

Cindy said she often wanted to come to Winfield but it just didn’t work out. Last year she placed second. She has been playing this instrument for some 18 years and has numerous CDs out with the most recent one entitled “You Can’t Get There From Here”. Cindy also plays the fiddle and bass.
