Tom Chapin & Friends

Years at Winfield:

Through 40 years, 22 CDs, three GRAMMY Awards, and thousands of live performances, Tom Chapin has entertained, amused and enlightened audiences of all ages. His newest children’s project, The Incredible, Flexible You, released this year, is part of a social-thinking curriculum for young learners.

Joining Tom on stage, as they have for 16 years at the Festival, are his good friends and collaborators, Michael Mark and Jon Cobert. Michael Mark is perhaps best known for writing the theme for TV’s Entertainment Tonight. Michael and Tom have collaborated on music for the children’s musical, The Magic Fishbone, as well as songs for Tom’s award-winning family and adult recordings. Michael released a solo album, Good To Be Here, in 2005.

Jon Cobert plays the piano, organ, accordion, synthesizer, guitar, bass and drums. He also sings lead and backup vocals. He has recorded and played with such musical legends as Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne, Judy Collins, and Chubby Checker.
