Pat Flynn

Years at Winfield:

During his tenure with New Grass Revivial, Frets magazine’s National Readers Poll voted Pat Flynn as “Best Acoustic Guitarist” for five consecutive years. Flynn was inducted into the Frets "Gallery of Greats" alongside Chet Atkins, Doc Watson and Tony Rice for winning the award for five years in a row,

Flynn has been a session guitarist, as well as performing on CMA and Grammy award winning projects with a wide array of top artists. This summer has been perhaps his most musically prolific period ever, recording and releasing the last volume of his CD trilogy, co-writting and producing Michael Martin Murphey's long awaited return to form, 'Red River Drifter'. He also managed to find time to tour as electric lead guitarist with musical icon, Leon Russell. Pat has organized and led live National TV concerts with both Murphey and Russell, over PBS.

Pat's newest CD, 'reNew' has just been released and is now available nationwide.
